Ski Well Be Well Initiative In Full Swing For Holiday Skiing Published: 23 December 2020 The ski season is underway, and the Christmas Holiday period is one of the busiest times for High Country resorts. With the COVID-19 pandemic still an issue, the North Carolina Ski Areas Association is utilizing its “Ski Well, Be Well” initiative to prioritize the health and safety of visitors, staff members, and folks in the community. High Country Press reports the Ski Well, Be Well initiative has been endorsed by over 20 organizations and groups in North Carolina including locally the Alpine Ski Center, Ski Country Sports, Avery, Banner Elk, Beech Mountain Blowing Rock and Boone Chambers of Commerce, and the Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, Blowing Rock, Village of Sugar Mountain and the Watauga County Tourist Development Associations. ....
