IMS-BHU in Varanasi has inaugurated two portable ultrasound and echocardiogram machines in the department of Geriatric Medicine. The event was attended by IMS director Prof SN Sankhwar who praised the department's initiatives and encouraged the staff to continue working for patient benefit. The department also offers free in-house bedside electrocardiogram and spirometry facilities, along with body composition analyzer and hand grip dynamometer for frailty assessment.
