Amid a surge in the number of
COVID cases in Pune city since February, the rapid antigen test
kits, which are used for quick diagnosis of COVID infection, are about to be out of stock with the
Pune Municipal Corporation (
PMC).
The civic body uses the kits to test samples of high-risk contacts of COVID-positive patients or symptomatic patients and is now left with just around 3,500 doses. Officials claim they are waiting for refill of stock of kits from the ....
