JAMMU, Feb 20: District Development Council (DDC) Jammu chairperson and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi today distributed Ayushman Bharat cards at Kangar Morh near, and exhorted the people to take maximum benefits out of several welfare schemes launched by Centre for them.
Bodhi distributed over 200 Golden cards of Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance under National Health Protection Scheme (NHPS) among beneficiaries in a function held at Mandal Office at Kangar Morh.
Speaking on the occasion, Bodhi informed that the Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance will provide coverage up to Rs five lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization across the country and will cover over 10 crore poor families (approximately 50 crore beneficiaries) in the entire India. He emphasised upon the need for the spread of the Ayushman Bharat scheme to the masses that can avail benefits of the scheme through implementing agencies
