birth and 4.5 years old, to join the
Imagination Library Program. This monthly book gifting program for children focuses on inspiring a love of books and reading for all infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in our Town. The program is free to all families thanks to our sponsors. We recently received a wonderful donation of $1500 from The Ashley Faye Family Fun Day organization, and at the end of 2020, we raised enough funds during our annual campaign for the program to continue!
Each month, one new book will be mailed to the child once we receive the application form. It takes 8-10 weeks for the enrollment process to be completed, and then the child will receive books until his or her fifth birthday. The Friends are dedicated to this program because we believe that early literacy leads to lifelong learning and future academic success. Reading with a child also forms a bond between families that can last

To the editor:
Due to covid-19, we had to cancel our 5th annual Ashley Faye Family Funday in August. The Ashley Faye Family Fun Day Committee wanted to continue to help out community, so we had a virtual raffle. With the funds made we can continue to give back to our community. We have selected two new organizations that we thought could use some help. The committee decided to donate $1500 to the Friends of Wareham Free Library (which also benefits Spinney Memorial Library of Onset) and $500 to Damien’s Pantry in memory of Ashley Faye Amado.
We congratulate the winners and thank all who supported the raffle.
