Founded by LGBT activist and musician Jon Reed Sims in 1978, it’s not only one of the world’s largest choruses (today they have more than 300 singers), they’re credited for helping create the LGBT choral movement. Now, the group are the subject of a new documentary called “Gay Chorus Deep South,” which debuts on Dec. 20 on Pop, Logo and Pluto TV (they’re also taking their annual Christmas show online this year, streaming as part of the annual Broadway on Demand concert on Christmas Eve). ....
