In the $11,600 Preferred Trot at The Raceway at the Western Fair District, Lass Shot was the sole mare in the field made up of six boys. Scratched down to a field of five, Lass Shot shot to the top of the Wednesday (March 27) feature and never looked back, winning from gate-to-wire by 1-1-3/4 lengths.
