Ashland Area Convention & Visitors Bureau marks Daubenspeck's 20 years

ASHLAND - Amy Daubenspeck will be celebrating her 20th anniversary with the Ashland Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, according to a news release from the Chamber.
In 2001, Daubenspeck was hired to fill the role of executive director for the Convention & Visitors Bureau. Her background as an English literature graduate of Ashland University was one of the attributes that made her a perfect fit for the job, the release said.
From interim director to director of operations
In October 2019, Daubenspeck was chosen as the interim director of the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce. In January of this year, the Chamber Board of Directors promoted Daubenspeck to the position of director of operations over the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ashland Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. ....

Ashland Chamber appoints Daubenspeck to serve as director of operations


ASHLAND The Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce s Board of Directors has appointed Amy Daubenspeck to serve as director of operations, a role with responsibilities to lead the Chamber of Commerce and Explore Ashland.
In a Friday announcement, board chair Jim Cutright announced the promotion of Daubenspeck, who had been serving as the interim director, and other changes in staffing at the Chamber. 
After what may have seemed like an eternity to some of you (and us), we have re-aligned staffing assignments into a new model that we are certain will serve our business community extremely well for many years into the future, Cutright said.  ....
