Based on the manga by Kazuto Okada which ran for eighteen volumes beginning in 1995, the
Very Private Lesson OVA series is getting a new lease on life. Media Blasters has a number of titles that they’ll be bringing out once again and this one was named specifically. It wasn’t made clear that it would be a Blu-ray release.
The anime was released in 1998 as written and directed by Hideaki Oba. Masaki Yamada served as chief animation director and character designer with AIC handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Kotono Mitsuishi as Teacher Satsuki, Yūji Ueda as Tairaku, and Yuko Miyamura as Aya Shirakaba
