Magic City Playmakers put on 'Almost, Maine' | News, Sports, Jobs

The Magic City Campus Playmakers present their spring show “Almost, Maine,” by John Cariani, from Thursday to Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Arvel Graving Theatre at Magic City Campus.
“Almost, Maine” is a series of nine vignettes about love with a touch of magic realism. Set against the northern lights, the residents of Almost, Maine, fall in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways.
The show is directed by Chad Gifford with Dylan Fosburg and Mikaela Erickson working as stage managers. The cast includes eleven students with many more working on technical aspects of the show. Students build and paint sets, research and design costumes, design and operate sound and lighting, and create posters and t-shirts. Gifford urges people to come support these students wh ....
