NEWPORT The Newport Folk Festival will take place this year across two main stages at Fort Adams and will be configured as two, three-day events set for July 23-25 and July 26-28, instead of the one event of the past.
This is being done because there will be a 50% reduction in capacity due to health safety concerns caused by the COVID pandemic. 
All available three-day passes for each event, at $230 per pass plus fees, can be purchased via the festival s website at newportfolk.org on Tuesday, May 18, beginning at 11 a.m. The festival in recent years has sold out quickly. Children are welcome, but there will be no children tickets this year. Children age 2 and under are free. ....
