A 30-year-old man is facing 50 years in prison for social media posts deemed to criticise the Thai monarchy, the longest sentence given under the country’s stringent lèse-majesté law.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) drawn up by the Move Forward Party and its partners has no reference to the lese majeste law in order to ensure the government’s stability, a coalition ally revealed on Friday.
As directed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Mahmood Khan, has decided to dissolve the provincial assembly on Tuesday, the Geo News reported.
