- ADVERTISEMENT - The show, titled “Able ARTS Work Variety Hour” is a collaboration with Able ARTS Works, a Long Beach non-profit that uses creative arts therapies, such as music, singing, painting and other activities to help adults with disabilities reach their individual social, educational and developmental goals. The hour-long broadcast Friday will mostly feature original music by the Able ARTS Work students, most of which was tracked during quarantine, and an interview with local folk musician Katie Jo. Future shows will include poetry, podcasts and other creative auditory works by the artists.
