Lake area nursing home to start giving coronavirus vaccine to residents and workers

Arrowhead Senior Living Community is scheduled to give out doses of coronavirus vaccine to its residents and staff starting Thursday.
Ali Ellis, marketing director for Midwest Health which operates Arrowhead, said, There are 32 assisted living and memory care residents at Arrowhead [and] 100% of them have opted to take the vaccine. So every single resident at Arrowhead assisted living and memory care is going to be vaccinated (Thursday).
All residents will receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday. While the vaccine is not required for residents and staff, it has been highly encouraged, according to the news release.
