Country music star Kix Brooks, one half of the duo Brooks & Dunn, has received numerous awards and recognitions during his career — induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2019, three CMA National Broadcast Personality of the Year awards for his nationally syndicated radio show “American Country Countdown” and the first CMA Humanitarian Award.  
Brooks said his latest recognition, the unveiling of the Kix Brooks Tennessee Music Pathways marker at Arrington Vineyards Tuesday, “is very special to me.”    
On a path shaded by a stand of aromatic cedar trees, Tennessee Department of Tourist Development Commissioner Mark Ezell, Arrington Vineyards President Kip Summers, Visit Franklin interim President and CEO Lauren Ward, Tennessee state Sen. Jack Johnson, state Rep. Brandon Ogles and a few longtime friends gathered to recognize and support the award-winning, multi-talented entertainer.    ....
