i ve been coaching for 20 years, haven t dealt with that one before. raises concerns. the drone had flown off by the time the police arrived. we were unable to locate the operator of that drone. it circled around over our heads. she had a close encounter with a drone over the weekend on ocean city s 5th street beach. you really thought if something went wrong, you would be injured. and it was frightening. the faa strongly encourages recreational drone users not to fly near people or stadiums or within 5 miles of an airport. ocean city s is not nearly that far from the football field. but police say, there s little they can do. these are only guidelines, we as law enforcement are waiting for the lawmakers to give us some enforcement powers to regulate the use of these drones. brings about a sense of, you know, you re kind of uncomfortable as a result of not knowing what the situation is. reporter: police tell me if something goes wrong, however, and someo

the florida keys and once again intensify to a tropical storm as it approaches florida and moves inland. we could again see that. now, the cone itself has really shifted a little farther to the west. now you see monday, 2:00 p.m., that cone is now including a little more of the gulf of mexico and much less of the atlantic. so we have seen quite a big shift to the west. computer models are finally picking up on more westward movement here. of course, as it moves over land, if this were to be the case, since that cone does get wider out in time, it does have the potential to stay in the gulf of mexico but if it were to move over florida, it would weaken back down to a depression. so these storms need warm water to fuel them and keep them alive, to intensify. but any land interaction will be weakening this storm. so this is the latest track on erika. we will have more later on this evening. and we have your weekend forecast. hotter temperatures, another heat wave coming. we ll t
