Ahead of the launch of Yuva Nidhi, Sharan Prakash Patil said the government expects daily enrolment of up to 5,000 for the scheme which assures unemployment allowance to the educated youth.
The order issued by the Karnataka Energy Department noted that the free power supply with an upper limit of 200 units will be dependent on the monthly average consumption of a household.
From 200 units of free power to Rs 2,000 for women heads of families, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said the government will implement all the guarantees gradually.
