COL Jabari M. Miller
COL Jabari Miller graduated from the United States Military Academy and was commissioned as an Armor officer in 1997. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and a master’s degree in Military Arts and Sciences from the School of Advance Military Study.
COL Miller’s past assignments include Tank Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer in 1st Battalion, 67th Armor at Fort Hood, Texas, and Cavalry Troop Executive Officer in 4th Squadron, 7th Cavalry in South Korea. From 2001 to 2008, he was assigned to the 2d ‘DAGGER’ Brigade, 1st Infantry Division as a Brigade Plans Officer and Brigade S1. He subsequently commanded both Alpha Company and HHC, 1st Battalion, 77th Armor. When promoted to Major, he served as a Military Transition Team Chief during the brigade’s deployment to Iraq.
