I would have certainly supported at that time arming the kurds against Saddam Hussein as im supportive now that you have to make sure very well that the people youre working with are, number one, do not have a long term, how do you say, a long term reason to hate you and to not like you and thus in the end they will end up being your enemy. And that was true in a number of areas in this region. So thats one of the reasons why i think we should rely on the kurds who have a long history of being friends with the United States.
