David Dunn pleaded guilty to wire fraud and lying to the FBI about his role in a cheating scandal to land Armando A.J. Perez a role as Bridgeport Chief of Police. Judge Dooley told Dunn that his punishment would be less severe than Perez’s year-long prison sentence because Dunn had nothing to gain. She told Dunn “I still don’t know why you are here” at the end of her sentencing. Dunn said he didn’t know, either. ....
