You re right. nothing has occurred. but the people who could make it happen happen to be people like the president. happen to be people like the speaker of the house. the people who can make it happen talk about it. but they don t do very much about it. i happen to believe that we should vote on legislation. and it can include this notion that the way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to have a good guy with a gun. let s have that good guy with a gun legislation before the house. let s vote on that. let s see if the american people agree that a good guy with a gun is what we need and that we need more good guys with guns. let s arm everybody in the country. let s have that legislation before the congress. and let people take a stand as opposed to have the talk that we hear that everybody can debate. but when we get to the floor of the house, the debate end up with a vote. that s what we need to do. talk to speaker ryan. encourage speaker ryan to bring legislation to the floor. some that ....
