A local court in Vadodara has rejected the bail pleas of three accused in the Harni boat drowning tragedy. The accused had applied for bail after being arrested 11 days ago. The court observed that safety measures were not followed by Kotia Projects, the firm responsible for boating and other facilities at Harni lake. The court also highlighted the negligence of contractors and concerned departments. The tragedy resulted in the loss of 12 children and 2 teachers.
