Our Correspondent Kohima, Sep. 25 (EMN): To incorporate psychological and Christian counselling workshops, seminars and training, Holistic Counseling and Training Centre, a government registered institute, has been established for the first time in Nagaland at Old Ministers’ Hill in Kohima. This counseling centre, which is also affiliated with InSPA (Indian School of Psychology Association) and supported by Counsellor Council of India and Career Naksha, has been founded by two Naga women — Areni Tungoe and Botoli Achumi — both PhD scholars in counselling psychology. “With a passion, commitment and goal to strive for a mentally fit community and a vision to make mental health facilities and training easily accessible to everyone, we have founded the centre,” said Tungoe, who is also a recipient of Prof. Erika Voigt Young Scientist Award in School Psychology.
