A little bit of good news, steph. what they re doing here is they have built dams and they are creating hydropower using the water, some of it from the glaciers to fight climate change. switzerland 60% of its electricity comes from that kind of hydropower in dams here in the mountains and also in the rivers. the reality is, steph, there are going to be some tough choices, though, because as these glaciers melt, it will have an impact. there is a lot of freshwater held in these glaciers around the world. there are even worries as the glaciers disappear, it causes rock falls and challenges for the people who live in these mountains. a real climate change challenge. the sad thing, steph, is that this glacier is likely to be gone, whatever we do. the big thing we have to do is to mitigate climate change so that we don t see that arctic ice melting and really catastrophic rises in ocean levels. steph? that is incredible, along ....
