When COVID-19 hit, the Portland Bureau of Transportation created the Healthy Businesses program to help business adapt to the pandemic economy. It allows restaurants to set up outdoor dining in the right of way (where cars would normally park, but not where they would be driving by at full tilt).

Oregon City doles out over $330K in CARES Act funding
Businesses benefit from Debt Grant Relief Initiative, Re-Imagine Opportunity Fund.
Oregon City commissioners Nov. 4 decision to reserve a portion of the city s federal emergency money to keep its loan program viable is now paying off.
Oregon City officials on Wednesday, Dec. 9, distributed over $330,000 in Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding to businesses in the city. The business community is receiving the funding to help sustain operations and re-imagine business opportunities through the Oregon City Debt Grant Relief Initiative and the Re-Imagine Opportunity Fund.
Oregon City officials approved 29 out of 41 applications for businesses to receive funds through the grant program that city commissioners approved in September. Grants provide direct payments to the creditor of each applicant, up to $4,000 per business for a total the amount of $99,609.28. This is Oregon Ci ....
