This morning, a judge will hear the case against mary beth haglin. Haglin is accused of sexually exploiting a student while she was substitute teaching at Washington High School last school year. During an interview, haglin admitted to the sexual relationship. After those interviews, her charges were elevated because prosecutors say she violated a nocontact order . And appeared on the doctor phil show to discuss the case. She now faces a felony count. District employee will appear before a judge. Marcus cain is accused of showing a student obscene material. Where outside after kind of a chilly weekend we are getting a little bit wet. Not so great. Not just raining, but also when the. That is not a great combination. The heaviest rain has started to move out of eastern iowa. Just along the mississippi right now. We will still have a few light showers lingering around the area tonight. We still have a little bit of rain around cedar rapids down to iowa city. We will have just a few showers through the night tonight. They will be pretty light in nature. By the commute we will still have the clouds and a few isolated showers i think it should be mostly dry across the area in the Morning Hours. We could start to see a few more showers develop by afternoon. It is going to be mild with temperatures climbing close to 50 degrees in the afternoon hours.
