PEBULU tangkis tunggal putra Indonesia, Jonatan Christie, berhasil melewati laga pertama Olimpiade Tokyo 2020 di Grup G dengan mengalahkan Aram Mahmoud.
Jojo, panggilan Jonatan, menang dengan skor 21- 8 dan 21-14. Jojo membutuhkan waktu 19 menit untuk menyudahi game pertama dan 17 menit di game kedua.
Aram Mahmoud merupakan pemain berstatus Tim Pengungsi Olimpiade atau pemain yang mengungsi ke negara lain karena tekanan politik.
