Warner Bros. latest addition to the DC universe, "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom," has emerged as the highest-grossing film of 2023 for the studio, making over $375 million globally, despite mixed reviews.
With moviegoers overseas still rocking up to Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the final DC Extended Universe is now nearing $400 million and could eventually gross more than 2022's Black Adam worldwide.
There's good and bad news for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom during its second weekend in theaters because, despite a dismal outing in North America, the sequel has managed to top The Marvels globally.
