Cox’s Bazar Runway Expansion: Cabinet okays company appointment

A joint venture company that includes China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) has been awarded the Cox s Bazar airport runway expansion work for Tk 1,568.86 crore.
The cabinet committee on purchase approved the proposal of civil aviation and tourism ministry to appoint the joint venture of M/s CYWEB and CCECC for the expansion works at its 37th meeting held yesterday.
Abu Saleh Mostafa Kamal, additional secretary of the cabinet division, said this during a briefing to the journalists after the meeting. ....
