Pickup truck gets struck on trail
ELLSWORTH The Hancock County Regional Communications Center got a call for help from a woman in Sullivan reporting that she and her boyfriend had gotten their pickup truck stuck on the Donnell Pond Trail just after 11 p.m. on March 28.
“They were over 3 miles in on the trail and there was no way for a wrecker to get to them,” said Deputy Jeff McFarland. “The Hancock RCC referred them to the Warden Service for assistance, as we were not able to get to them with a cruiser.”
Arrests
Deputy Dylan Hall arrested a Northeast Harbor woman after a traffic stop on the Bucksport Road in Ellsworth Saturday. Stacy Smith, 52, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. ....
