The competition to design a mascot attracted entries from a number of local schools. The judges included the shopping centre s manager Chris Shaw, Alex Long from British Land, Saad from Home Slough, Marcelo at Applied Live Art Studio and Lynsey Hellewell from Slough Council. Chris Shaw said: “Our aspiring young artist Yasmin’s design stood out to the judges because it exemplifies the message of community and togetherness, which has been ever more important during 2020. Moving forward into 2021 and beyond, we want to continue to celebrate the community of Slough and the considerable acts of kindness we have witnessed this year, and we know that Harmony the Heart will make the perfect companion.” ....
