Christine L. Philbrook Robbins, age 89, passed away on April 7, 2021 at Waldo County General Hospital, following a stroke while residing at Harbor Hill in Belfast for a short time.
Christine was born on July 13, 1931 to Bernice (Morey) and Arthur Philbrook. Christine was one of eleven children born to Arthur and Bernice. She grew up in Appleton and attended early years at Burkettville School and later at the Appleton Village School. She graduated from the Appleton Village High School in 1950.
Christine married Neil R. Robbins on May 12, 1951. In the early years of their marriage they built their home where they resided for nearly 70 years for their entire married life. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and nana pouring her love out to those who were around her.
