Many users have been facing issues with their Mac with M1 Chip when paired with an ultrawide monitor. Recently, Apple has also uploaded a support document where they admit to their lapses. Apparently, when a wide or super-ultrawide external display is being connected to the M1 Mac, problems arise and some resolutions supported by their display seem to be unavailable for Mac.
