Assistant Chief Tim Swann Retires After 33-Years with Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – It has been said if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.  If that’s true, Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department Assistant Chief of Operations Tim Swann has clocked zero hours in his 33-year years of firefighting.  Swann’s last day on the job is today, September 29.

Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Names New Assistant Chief of Operations

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Newly appointed Fire Chief Mark McCluskey announces the promotion Tim Swann to Assistant Chief of Operations after serving in an interim role since July 2022.
