The Appalachian State University Police Department has expanded its K-9 unit, adding a second team that comprises Officer Tylor Greene and Officer Mitzi.
The fifth class of App State’s Appalachian Police Officer Development Program was recognized at a graduation ceremony on Aug. 27, 2022, at Rosen Concert Hall.
