App State has received a $481,378 grant from the National Council on Aging to improve vaccination rates among older adults in 10 Western North Carolina counties.
App State alumna and Beaver Scholar Alexis “Lexie” Farr ’22 is giving back to her hometown community through her career at UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton.
App State welcomed 20,436 students to its Boone campus and App State Online for fall 2022, which includes the university’s most diverse student body to date.
A donation from App State alumnus Dr. Ed Rankin ’79 and his wife, Thuy Le, will help fund an annual speech therapy camp on campus for adolescents who stutter.
