Clackamas County man accused in $14M COVID relief fund fraud
Apocalypse Bella, aka Dias Yumba, indicted in alleged scheme to steal from Paycheck Protection Program
A Clackamas County resident has been charged alongside two other men for using two companies to fraudulently apply for $14 million in COVID-19 small business relief loans, according to an indictment unsealed April 22 in Manhattan Federal Court.
Apocalypse Bella, aka Dias Yumba, of Clackamas County was charged alongside Mackenzy Toussaint and Amos Mundendi for multiple counts of conspiracy and fraud that could land them 55 years in prison, given maximum sentences. 
Bella, 36, was arrested March 18 in Virginia.  ....

Three men charged in scheme to get $14 million in COVID-relief loans

Three men from Texas and Oregon were charged in an apparent scheme to get $14 million from COVID-19 relief loans.
According to a Thursday press release sent out by the United States Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York, the three men Apocalypse Bella, Mackenzy Toussaint, and Amos Mundendi were charged for trying to obtain government guaranteed loans designed to provide relief to small businesses during the pandemic. 
The three men were involved in the scheme to submit fraudulent applications to the Small Business Administration (SBA) and to at least one company which processes loan applications under the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program in order to get the sum amount.  ....
