Eight in 10 companies in India have increased their spend on employee well-being in 2023 as compared to 2019, said a study by Aon. The study shows that 82% of Indian companies believe that mental health has a potential impact on business outcomes. The report also shows a 51% increase in companies offering outpatient department (OPD) benefits. Additionally, 80% provide employee assistance programmes and mental health support and 37% offer telemedicine.
The report, titled Aon India Primary Care Benefits Report, evaluates investments in primary care and outpatient benefits in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
