Carlingford based tenor Gavan Ring and pianist Gary Beecher get together for the final concert in the Drogheda Classical Music 2020 autumn series will streamed be on Friday December 11 at 7.30pm.
The concert from the beautiful setting of St Peter s Church of Ireland features a selection of well-known operatic arias and songs by the great operatic composers Puccini, Mozart and Verdi as well as favourites such Schubert s Ave Maria, and Italian songs made famous by the legendary tenor Pavarotti.
Although much of our autumn series was behind closed doors and only available to watch online, the chance to bring music and joy in to people s homes while giving performing opportunities to professional musicians and associated artists has been a privilege, says Director Pauline Ashwood. ....
