All food and grog stalls at Centrepoint at Laucala Beach near RB Patel Supermarket have been closed and only vegetable sellers have been allowed to operate with strict measures in place.
The CEO of the Nasinu Town Council, Anurashika Bari says they have allowed these people to sell vegetables as there is no nearby market.
She says the roadside vegetable sellers will be monitored to see they are complying with COVID-19 protocols. ....

All markets in Nasinu and Nausori will close 4pm every afternoon during the current COVID-19 restrictions period.
CEO Anurashika Bari says the early closure will allow council time to disinfect the market and get it ready for operations for the next day.
She says this is part of the COVID-19 safety protocols.
All staff and vendors have also been reminded to strictly follow the COVID-19 safety measures at all times.

Bari says the cost is over $150,000 and they have called for a tender for the naming rights of Ratu Cakobau Park.
Both pavilions suffered damages during TC Ana.
Bari says there is also a possibility that they may only repair one pavilion based on the finances that they will receive through private partnership. ....
