The fastest-finger-first strategy is no longer working to book vaccination slots on Co-Win due to recurrent issues on the portal while seeking appointments, citizens told TOI.
Though slots have started appearing “green” on the portal for some users, the issues after that are causing many to lose the slots instantly.
Citizen Anurag Joshi said, “When I saw the ‘green’ slot under a particular vaccine site, I clicked on it and was led to the time slots. I was then prompted to fill in the captcha code. The code is case sensitive and one takes time to type it. By the time a person selects the time slot and fills in the Captcha code, the slots get booked by other users.”
