Arrested Monday, Martin Anuar Martinez, 30, of Manassas, remains in custody, pending extradition to Virginia, the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday morning.

She was held without bond. Martin Anuar Martinez is being sought on murder charges. He’s 30, stands 5-foot-9 and weighs 170 pounds, the sheriff’s office said. A wanted poster placed online around 3:30 a.m. Sunday depicts Martin Anuar Martinez, 30, “wanted for murder.” Mr. Martinez, 5-feet-9 and 170 pounds, “is considered armed and dangerous,” according to the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office. Listed in 2017 court records as a Manassas resident, Mr. Martinez has an extensive criminal record. He pleaded guilty to robbery, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony in 2016.
