You, saying, i m not what you think. i am confused and afraid. i wonder what path i will take. i hear there s only two ways out. i see mothers bury their sons. i want my mom to never feel that pain. there have been far too many conversations with mothers in the wake of losing their sons. and i know from friends of mine and from other people i ve spoken with, there s a talk you often have with your son. how hard was it to have that talk with antwon? antwon and i talked all the time. i just wanted him to know that i loved him. i never foresaw anything like this happening. but i just always felt the need to tell him that i loved him. i don t know why, but i just always wanted both of my kids to know that i loved them, but i wanted antwon to know that he ....
Developments happened whilee was running away from the police officer? when viewing the video, you can t help but notice the shots are fired in a rapid succession, within a second of antwon taking his first steps. the officer is poised by vehicle with his gun out, in no risk of harm, not in harm s way, stands poised and fired his weapon directly into back of antwon. do you know how many shots the officer fired? he fired three shots in success. he did not give any verbal warning. without hesitation, he fired three shots in the direction of mr. rose. so fred, what kind of punishment, if convicted, does the family hope to see? this is a capital case. ....
Shooting of an unarmed black teenag teenager. take a look at this. those protesters lay down sfleetsfleet the streets, they are outraged after 17-year-old antwon rose was shot and killed by police in east pittsburgh on tuesday. he had been pulled over in a car, a car that authorities thought may have been involved in a nearby shooting. he got out, ran, and was shot by a police officer in the back. athena jones is live for us in east pittsburgh following this story. what can you tell us? reporter: hi, poppy. we re standing outside the east pittsburgh police department. this is where the protests have been kicking off the last couple of nights. we were here last night as a crowd of about 100 gathered to demand accountability from the police department. they were carrying signs like justice for antwon, save our sons, black lives matter. it was a diverse crowd, white, black, young, old, a child in diapers. i spoke to a 16-year-old woman ....
Antwon was the one involved in the shooting. pointing to ballistic damage to the rear window. lee, was the car the same one involved in the shooting? we have yet to determine that. we know that there were significant circumstantial evidence to point that this was a car that may have been involved in something. but, again, very telling is the fact that they released the driver. if the driver could be an occupant, not only an occupant and we can t imputeiminalit to antwon or anyone else. has antwon i misspoke. the officer who shot him, though, he had been sworn in, right, a couple hours before this happened and we know that he had been an officer at other local departments for seven years. what are your comments on this officer? well, i don t know enough about this officer and i m demanding on behalf of the family the release of his name ....
