Burlington, IA- The Des Moines County Sheriff's Office reports the arrest of a Fort Madison man for drug possession. On Wednesday, at about 9:23 PM, a Des Moines County Deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at US Highway 61 and 50th St. The front passenger in the vehicle was identified as 44-year-old Anton Robert Kempker of Ft. Madison, IA. During the traffic stop, Kempker was found to be in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Kempker was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance marijuana, possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kempker was then transported to the Des Moines County Jail. At the jail, an additional 26 grams of methamphetamine was found concealed on Kempker's person. Kempker was then charged with possession of contraband in a correctional facility, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and failure to affix drug tax stamp. Kempker has
