Federal judge Tanya Chutkan granted the Special Counsel Team Request for protective order just yesterday. The protective order seek salute what trump can and cannot disclose about the case, and the trove of evidence that prosecutors are set to turn over to the defense during discovery. Now the government requested a protective order that covered all of the discovery materials. But the judges ruling did not go that far. Pattern of racial bias in our justice system and an antique naje. if you years ago a series of studies show just how unjust a.i. recognition is. the 2019 federal study found that asian blind people were up to 100 times more likely to be misidentified by facial recognition tools than white people. middle aged white man and were identified correctly with the highest rates of accuracy. no surprise there. black and indigenous women were identified with the lowest degrees of accuracy by a long shot. also not a surprise. these implications are serious. our justice system is already known to be heavily biased against both black and brown people. with artificial intelligence becoming more and more common in different aspects of modern life, from policing, to medicine, to hiring processes. these prejudices that existed society being programed into algorithms that will be relied on more and more every day,
