There s one definition, but for me and this is why i m a democrat is because it is where i feel most comfortable. look at the republicans. i think jeb bush said it very well not long ago. he said when your party is perceived as being anti-women, anti-gay, anti-minority, pretty soon the room s empty and that kind of intolerant attitude, at least by the leadership in the republican party, i mean, my mom and dad are still republicans and they re very good, decent people, and a lot of republicans are. but the leadership of the the party, as you know, chuck, has just gone in a direction that s out of control. and i just didn t feel comfortable there anymore. i mean, the way my mom and dad raised my three sisters and me was to be decent to other people, be kind to people, be compassionate, and i just don t see that in today s republican leadership and that s why i m so much more comfortable as a true democrat. interesting you brought up jeb bush. if this were his republican party, woul ....
Of the actual organization, i would point out that the this is a party that michael steele presides over, a huge victory, so of course they fire him and reince priebus presides over a debacle, and they rehire him. so this is not getting past stupid as far as i m concerned. but be that as it may, that s their business. they are looking for a leader. and i think jindal could have challenged them to do what they need to do, which is reexamine their positions and their policies. it s not it s not just that some republicans say stupid things. it s that they have positions that are seen as anti-women, anti-minority, anti-immigrant, anti-science, anti-everything. if they re looking for a new leader, and they ve got to have a new leader, and they re in the age of obstructing everything in washington, wouldn t this set the table for somebody out in the heartland with republican core conservative value and ideas to step forward with a fresh message? what about that, karen? ....

Reasons to go here. the reason that state after state has gone here is because the american legislative exchange council in 2005, after florida passed its law, developed model legislation that with the support of the nra and other groups, it has pushed in state after state across this country. not to respond to public outcry and not to respond to specific incidents but rather to dramatically extend what i think of as a fantasy of where gun rights ought to go. ben, i want to ask you, one last question. because you do represent such a revered organization. is there a sense on the part of minorities that this law is anti-minority, that these laws are meant to somehow be anti-minority, these stand your ground laws? well, certainly it seems that for many, the fear that they have is of black men. and really, that s what s at the heart of the trayvon case, is that this is a case that, you know, where a young black man ....
