Burned body discovered at brush fire in West New York: officials

A burned body was discovered at the site of a reported brush fire in West New York early Wednesday morning, officials said.
West New York police officers reported a brush fire after 1 a.m. behind the West New York Swim Club, in the area of 60th Street, JFK Boulevard East and Anthony M Defino Way, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
After members of the North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue Department extinguished the fire, the burned remains of a person were discovered, who was pronounced dead at the scene, she said. ....
