The siteâs 3,500 roses reached peak bloom the first weekend of June. Usually, peak bloom lasts a week to 10 days, says Anthony Haubert, communications and public relations manager for the M.S. Hershey Foundation. Many of the roses continue to shine through the summer, thanks to constant deadheading from volunteers. The next peak is expected to be in early September. Closer to home, the roses at Buchanan Park are in full bloom. Volunteers were kept from the park for months but theyâve since been able to tackle the weeds and care for the roses, said John Trusz, chairman of Lancaster County Garden Clubâs rose garden committee. ....

Visitors can see the full glory of 3,500 bushes in their peak on three-and-a-half acres from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. As an added bonus for anyone named Rose, admission is free for the month of June. Paved paths and grassy lanes arching around Swan Lake will take you through a rainbow of fragrant colors as the roses start to peak. Butterfly Atrium at Hershey Gardens The conservatory, serving as an architectural anchor for the garden, also houses the Butterfly Atrium.
