By Advertiser Reporter JAILED: Drug runner who lied about phone being stolen (he pawned it himself) A DRUG runner who claimed his phone was stolen was caught on CCTV pawning it himself, a court heard. Anthony Broadbent, 33, was jailed for two years and 10 months at Swindon Crown Court yesterday after he admitted perverting the course of justice and supplying class A drugs. Prosecutor Michael Mason told the court Broadbent was caught selling crack cocaine on behalf of the “Lucky” drugs line to an undercover police officer in May 2019. On September 10, 2019, he met with another undercover officer, who was posing as a drug addict. The officer paid £20 for three wraps containing 0.11g of cocaine and 0.04g of heroin. ....
