Greek health authorities have recorded 605 new coronavirus cases in a day, and 24 deaths, until midday Saturday while 292 patients are on ventilators in ICUs.
In total, Greece has had 151,646 confirmed infections and 5,622 fatalities since the beginning of the pandemic.
The last week cases have stabilised at around 500-600 a day, allowing authorities to discuss the gradual easing of the lockdown.
According to the Government Gazette, current restrictions will apply until 1 February as announced by Deputy Minister for Civil Protection & Crisis Management Nikos Hardalias. This includes:

COVID-19 restrictions have been extended by another week to 1 February.
On Friday, Greece confirmed 585 new coronavirus cases with seven of these identified at the country’s entry points.
The National Public Health Organization (EODY) also confirmed 28 new deaths, with the total number of COVID-19 fatalities in Greece at 5,598.
Greece’s Civil Protection and Crisis Management Minister Nikos Hardalias said that there would be a continuation of the overnight curfew (21:00-05:00), the SMS permits for ortings and the obligatory wearing of face masks at all indoor and outdoor public spaces.
The only change announced on Friday was a lifting of maximum taxi passengers allowed to two (besides the driver) from the current one person rule.

religious ceremonies will be conducted without the presence of worshipers, while funerals will be taking place with a maximum of nine persons (close relatives)
– The measure of
mandatory teleworking is also extended
– A new aviation directive (NOTAM) issued by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority on Friday, foresees that all passengers entering Greece on flights from any foreign country (including EU member states)
must self-isolate for seven days. The new NOTAM is in effect until midnight on January 21.
Furthermore, travelers arriving to Greece from the UK must take a rapid Covid-19 test and self-isolate for 7 days.
– Movement is banned from 9pm until 5am throughout Greece. For movement beyond curfew hours, citizens must send an sms to the five-digit mobile phone service 13033.
